EverBird.ai sets no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies, and it does not show a cookie consent banner — because it does not set the kind of storage that would legally require one.
Three things, all necessary for the product to work:
A session cookie, once you sign in, so that you stay signed in. It identifies your session and nothing else. Without it there would be no way to have an account.
Your own preferences, where you have set them — for example, if a recipient of a shared document asks us not to measure their visit, that choice is remembered on their device so we can honour it next time. A preference you explicitly asked us to remember is exempt from consent requirements for the same reason a “you declined” cookie always has been.
An invite code, if you arrived through someone’s invite link. It is the code printed on that link — a public share code, not anything that identifies you — and we keep it only so the person who invited you still gets credited when you finish signing up, which may be days later. It expires after 30 days, is never sent to anyone else, and is never used to recognise you on this site or any other.
Consent banners exist because of the ePrivacy rule on storing or reading information on your device. Our shared-link measurement does neither: it does not write a cookie, an identifier, or anything else to a recipient’s browser. The identifier used to distinguish one viewer from another is derived on our edge network from the request itself, is one-way, is scoped to a single document, and rotates every 30 days — so there is nothing on your device to ask permission for.
That does not remove your say in it. Measurement runs on a legitimate interest basis, and every shared document carries a “Privacy” control that turns it off. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail, including what is recorded when someone signs a document.
Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout pages when you pay, under Stripe’s own policy. We embed no advertising networks, no social trackers, and no third-party analytics scripts.
You can clear cookies and site storage at any time through your browser’s privacy settings. Clearing them will sign you out and reset any preferences you have set, including a measurement opt-out.
Everbird spots who’s stalling, decides when to follow up, and writes the message that closes the deal — automated client follow up software with one link for all client documents.
Our community is built into EverBird, and yes, we answer every email ourselves, always.
